These tools work out Jain calendar questions in your browser, for your own city. The first time you use one, we ask for your email address and send a 6-digit code to confirm it; after that the tools are unlocked on your device. The privacy page says what we keep and why.
The tools
- Pachkhan time calculator. Navkarsi, Porsi, Sadh Porsi, Purimaddh, Avaddh and Chauvihar for any city and date, with the next seven days.
- Jain tithi and parva days. The tithi at sunrise, whether it is a parva day, the kalyanakas on it, and the parva days of the next thirty days.
- Jain Panchang. The full day for any place: tithi, nakshatra, choghadiya, hora and the kalyanaka of the day.
- Jain Muhurta Finder. Days ranked for a beginning, with the rule behind each judgement.
- Kalyanaka calendar. All 120 kalyanakas of the 24 Tirthankaras with their sources.
- Pachkhan times by city. Ready-made pages for cities in India and abroad, with the next two weeks.
Every result states the rule it follows. Where Shvetambara, Sthanakvasi, Terapanth and Digambara sanghs differ, the page says so, and for observance your own sangh’s calendar comes first.
