What it shows
Today’s date and tithi at sunrise (with the time it ends and the parva, when it is one), then sunrise, Navkarsi, Porsi, Sadh Porsi, Purimaddh and Chauvihar for the city you choose. It updates itself every day in your visitors’ browsers, on your city’s own clock, with daylight saving handled for centres abroad.
How to add it
Choose your city above, copy the code, and paste it into your website wherever you want the box to appear: most site builders (WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, Google Sites) have an “embed” or “custom HTML” block for exactly this. It needs no account and sends nothing about your visitors to us.
Things to know
- It is free, and there is nothing to maintain.
- Under the box is a one-line credit linking to the next two weeks of times for your city. Please keep it if you can: it is how other sanghs find the widget.
- Sanghs differ in how they round pachkhan times. If yours publishes its own, the widget says plainly that members should follow the sangh’s times where they differ.
- Your city not in the list? Choose “Somewhere else” and enter its latitude and longitude.
